Costing and Glaze:

Firing is $15 a kg per firing (minimum 1kg required). Glaze and glazing materials can be purchased at the studio.

500ML tubs of brush on glaze are $22, 140ML underglaze is $15 a tub.

Access to our studio dip glazes also available at an extra cost.

Firing Agreement:

Please read the following as you are liable for any damage caused to our kilns

Ensure clay is Stoneware (High Fire) that can be fired to 1280c for the glaze firing. We do not offer an Earthenware or Midfire
firing service.

- Ensure you have not left any glaze on the bottom of the piece, and have sponged back sufficiently

- Ensure your glaze is suitable for your clay body (can be fired up to 1280c)

If there are any damages made to our kiln shelves, the following charges apply:

$15/kg (minimum of 1kg charge applies)

Our technicians always aim to identify potential issues before firing but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure you understand the process before firing with us. If you are ever unsure please ask our friendly staff to help!
